WikiLinkleri Kullanmak

Öncelikle makalenin adına yazılabilmesi için uluslararası bir Wikilink yaratmalısınız. Bu [[New article name]] dizisini kullanarak kolayca yapılabilir. Bir link yaratıldıktan sonra, içine makale yazılana kadar rengi kırmızı olur.

Kırmızı bir linke tıkladığınızda, otomatik olarak yeni makalenin düzenleme sayfasına gelirsiniz. Metini, metin kutusuna yazın ve "Sayfayı Kaydet" e basın. Bu kaydettiğiniz sayfa, yaratılmış olacaktır.

Sayfa veya makale bir kez yaratıldığında, Wikilink kırmızıdan siyaha döner, bu renk içinde artık yazı olduğunu gösterir.

URL Kullanmak

You can also use the Metin2Wiki to generate a page URL. The following format is used for a page URL:

    * Http://wiki.metin-2.com/index.php/ARTICLE

Replace the ARTICLE in the link with the actual name of the article you wish to create. As a result you will get a blank page with a message that this article does not currently exist. Then press the "edit" tab and the page goes into edit mode. Write your information in the textbox of the edit page and then simply press the "Save page" button to apply the changes.

Creating a Redirect to a New Page

Always remember when creating an article to think about redirecting. This is in case somebody else searches for your article by a different name or with incorrect spelling (cases also matter with some articles). Here is how you create a redirect.

A redirect is generated by the following command in the first line of a page: #REDIRECT [[target]]. This means that a user will be redirected when searching this page. The important thing to remember is the command must be on the first line of the page!

Protecting a New Page

If it is desired pages can be locked so they are protected. This means that only certain groups can edit the page. This can only done by a member of the Metin2Wiki-Team.
